OPPO announced the new OPPO Reno5 Marvel Edition Smartphone developed in collaboration with Marvel. The new phone builds upon the stunning design and technical strengths of OPPO Reno5 by fusing characters and other elements from Marvel’s The Avengers series into every aspect of the phone to create a must-have item for Marvel fans around the world.
The design of the OPPO Reno5 Marvel Edition draws much of its inspiration from the Quantum Suits worn by The Avengers in the movie Avengers: Endgame. Featuring a combination of black, gray, silver and red colors, the design of the phone is instantly recognizable to any Marvel fan.
In the center of the phone’s back casing, eyes will immediately be drawn to the round ‘A’ logo, which combines two iconic Marvel elements – The Avengers logo and Captain America’s shield. Created using a Fresnel Lens Process, the ‘A’ logo is smooth and glossy to touch but appears textured and three-dimensional when viewed from different angles. Besides, the back of the phone is designed around the letter ‘X’, taking its inspiration from the logo of Black Widow. The ‘X’ effect is made using a combination of two different materials, the textured finish creates a unique feel to the phone reminiscent of the high-tech suits worn by The Avengers.
The silver sides of the phone have been created through an electroplating process, with a black stripe in the middle revealed through laser-etching. A red embellishment around the button adds a further touch of Marvel inspiration, making the phone easily recognizable to Marvel fans from all angles. On the front side of the phone is a 6.4-inch 90Hz AMOLED screen providing users with a clear and immersive viewing experience.
OPPO Reno5 Marvel Edition will be available starting from April 10th in Egypt, at a retail price of 6,690EGP for the 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM configuration.
