Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Badr Abdel-Aati, departed for Amman, Jordan, on Monday to participate in the resumed 165th Ordinary Session of the Council of the Arab League at ministerial level.
Abdel-Aati is set to take part in a consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers, which will discuss a range of Arab and regional issues, as well as recent developments of common concern.
He is also scheduled to hold a series of bilateral meetings with his Arab counterparts to discuss ways of strengthening bilateral relations. The ministers will exchange views on key regional and international developments and explore avenues for advancing joint Arab co-operation.
The Arab League ministerial meetings come amid ongoing regional challenges and efforts to enhance co-ordination among Arab states on political, economic and security issues.
