On the sidelines of the quadrilateral meeting hosted by Cairo, Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Aati held a trilateral meeting with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, as part of ongoing consultations and coordination among the three countries on regional issues of mutual concern.
The three sides exchanged views on a number of regional developments, foremost among them the situation in the Gaza Strip, as well as developments in Sudan and Libya, the latest updates regarding the Iranian file, and evolving conditions in the Horn of Africa, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Tamim Khallaf said.
The foreign ministers underscored the importance of maintaining close coordination and continued consultations among their countries in support of regional security and stability, while advancing efforts aimed at resolving ongoing crises and promoting peace across the region.
