Egypt’s First Lady, Entissar El-Sisi, extended her heartfelt greetings to the Egyptian people and the Islamic nation on the occasion of the Islamic New Year.
“In commemoration of the Prophet’s Hijra, I extend my sincere congratulations to the people of Egypt and to the Islamic nation on the beginning of a new Hijri year,” she said in a post on her official Facebook page on Tuesday.
The First Lady expressed hope that the new year would bring greater peace of mind and optimism, praying for guidance to uphold the values of patience, generosity and compassion.
“We pray that this year brings more reassurance and hope, and that God grants us success in following the values of patience, giving and mercy,” she said.
She also prayed for Egypt’s continued safety and well-being, asking God to protect the country and its people from all harm.
