CAIRO – Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and Secretary General of the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) Nayef Al-Hajraf signed on Thursday a memo of understanding on the mechanism of political consultations between the ministry and the council, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Hafez tweeted.
Shoukry received Hajraf earlier in the day and discussed distinguished relations between Egypt and the Gulf countries.
They exchanged viewpoints towards a number of regional and international issues.
