Nile Air has announced the expansion of its use of Amadeus’ NDCX platform, reinforcing its position as one of the first leading Egyptian airlines to adopt and implement NDC solutions. The move reflects the airline’s commitment to embracing the latest digital distribution technologies in the aviation industry and enhancing connectivity with travel agents and distribution partners.
The NDC system is being rolled out across Nile Air’s network in Saudi Arabia, the Gulf region, and Europe, enabling travel agents to access the airline’s content, offers, and services more directly, efficiently, and flexibly, while boosting the company’s presence in its key strategic markets.
This digital expansion comes alongside the airline’s plans to modernise its fleet, increase operational capacity, and launch additional routes and destinations, supporting continued business growth and meeting the rising demand for travel to and from Egypt.
NDCX solutions and IATA’s NDC standards also enable travel agents to access more advanced content, including fares, ancillary services, and commercial offers, with greater transparency and flexibility, helping improve sales performance and enhance the customer experience.
