EgyptAir is nearing the successful completion of its airlift operations, safely transporting thousands of African pilgrims back home following the conclusion of the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
By June 15, the airline will conclude its airlift for pilgrims from Guinea-Conakry.
In co-operation with Donia Voyage, EgyptAir is operating 16 flights to carry nearly 5,000 pilgrims from Jeddah to Conakry.
These journeys are being operated using the modern Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, which features a capacity of 309 passengers.
In a similar effort, EgyptAir will wrap up its special flights for Malian pilgrims on June 12.
Working alongside the Mohamed Sou company, the airline is safely returning 3,700 pilgrims from Jeddah to Bamako.
