Egypt strongly condemned what it described as Iran’s “criminal” attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain, calling them a blatant violation of the country’s sovereignty and a dangerous escalation that threatens Bahrain’s security and stability.
In a statement issued on Wednesday , Egypt’s Foreign Ministry expressed full solidarity with Bahrain and reaffirmed its support for all measures taken by the kingdom to safeguard its security and stability and protect its citizens and vital facilities.
Egypt also renewed its rejection of any actions that infringe upon the sovereignty of Arab states or threaten their security and territorial integrity.
The ministry stressed that the security and stability of the Gulf Arab states are an integral part of both Arab and Egyptian national security.
