Egypt’s Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade,Mohamed Farid, held an extensive meeting with the Board of Directors of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, led by Chairman Ahmed El-Wakil, to discuss strategies for enhancing Egyptian exports and improving the competitiveness of national products in global markets.
The session focused on challenges facing the business community and investment climate, while highlighting opportunities across key productive sectors. Minister Farid emphasized that raising the competitiveness of Egyptian exports is a national priority, stressing that the private sector is a vital partner in shaping export-support policies. He noted that integration between government and business stakeholders is essential to expanding Egypt’s export base and strengthening trade performance.
Discussions also addressed ways to improve supply chain efficiency, enhance product quality, and broaden the range of priority export sectors. The meeting underscored the importance of tackling obstacles faced by exporters and fostering stronger trade relations with international partners through better coordination of production and export processes.
The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the need for continued collaboration between government institutions and the business community to sustain and expand Egypt’s export growth.
