Chinese President Xi Jinping and US counterpart Donald Trump held constructive talks on AI during their Beijing summit last week and agreed to keep up intergovernmental dialogue, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson said on Tuesday.
As major industry players, the two should jointly promote its development and governance to better serve the progress of civilisation and the well-being of the international community, the spokesperson, Guo Jiakun, told a daily press conference.
