Concrete Plus has marked a significant milestone in its healthcare development portfolio, following an official visit by Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli to inspect the dialysis building at Al-Arish General Hospital, ahead of its handover and official inauguration scheduled for later this month.

For years, expanding access to specialised healthcare services—particularly critical treatments such as dialysis—has remained a key priority within Egypt’s development agenda.
This project reflects Concrete Plus’ growing role in delivering advanced medical infrastructure and supporting underserved regions with high-quality healthcare facilities.
The new dialysis building is a fully dedicated medical facility designed to serve kidney patients, comprising a ground floor and three upper floors.
The facility is equipped with approximately 85 dialysis machines, distributed across intensive care units, isolation rooms, and specialised treatment areas.

The building includes dedicated dialysis units for children, as well as separate sections for patients with infectious diseases such as Hepatitis C and HIV, alongside treatment areas for non-infectious cases.
It also features advanced medical laboratories, including CPR and DNA laboratories, further enhancing its capacity to deliver comprehensive and specialised care.
Since 2021, the project has formed part of broader efforts to strengthen healthcare infrastructure in North Sinai.
Today, it stands as a vital addition to the governorate, aiming to improve access to life-saving treatment and raise the standard of care for local communities.
The visit highlighted not only the progress of the project, but also its anticipated impact on thousands of patients and families across the region.
Once operational, the facility is expected to serve approximately 85 patients and will be supported by a workforce of more than 250 medical and administrative staff.
Engineer Tarek Youssef, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Concrete Plus, said: “Today marks a proud milestone for Concrete Plus and for Egypt’s healthcare infrastructure journey.
The dialysis building at Al-Arish General Hospital reflects our commitment to delivering world-class medical facilities that make a real difference in people’s lives.
We are honoured to contribute to a project that expands access to life-saving treatment in North Sinai and supports the national vision for equitable, high-quality healthcare across all regions.”
Dr Hossam Abdel Hafiz Abu El Qassem, Director of Al-Arish General Hospital, stated: “Al-Arish General Hospital has recently witnessed a significant leap in the level of healthcare services, supported by the provision of the latest advanced medical equipment, alongside a highly qualified team of specialised doctors across all disciplines.
This is in line with the highest international standards to deliver optimal medical services.
The hospital currently serves more than 75 per cent of the population of North Sinai Governorate.”
Concrete Plus emphasised that the successful delivery of the project is the result of the collective efforts of its teams across all stages of development, including engineers, technical staff, and project workers, both past and present.
Looking ahead, the company aims to further expand its footprint in the healthcare sector, contributing to national efforts to enhance medical infrastructure and ensure equitable access to quality healthcare services.
This milestone underscores Concrete Plus’ ongoing commitment to delivering impactful projects that support community development and long-term sustainability across Egypt.
