The Egyptian Armed Forces organized a visit for a delegation from Hiroshima University of Japan, including the university’s president and a number of faculty members, to the Egyptian Military Academy.

The visit was attended by Minister of Education and Technical Education Mohamed Abdel Latif, Director of the Egyptian Military Academy Major General Mohamed Salah el Torky and several faculty members of the academy.
The visit comes within the framework of the Armed Forces’ commitment to supporting the education and scientific research system and strengthening academic ties with countries across various fields.

The visit started with a documentary presentation on the Egyptian Military Academy, followed by a tour of its facilities.
During the visit, the delegation was introduced to the academy’s advanced educational and technological capabilities, as well as its modern learning systems, which contribute to preparing and qualifying human resources across diverse disciplines. This reflects the academy’s status as a leading national institution in both military and civilian education.
The Egyptian Military Academy participated in the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between several Egyptian ministries and Hiroshima University.
The agreement aims to promote joint cooperation and maximize the use of the capabilities and resources of both the Egyptian Military Academy and Hiroshima University, both theoretically and practically, across multiple fields. Particular focus will be placed on training and qualifying teachers and faculty members to enhance their skills and capabilities, as well as on developing research systems and academic curricula at both institutions.
