US warships evacuating 40,000 Vietnamese refugees

The conflict in Vietnam has come to an end, leaving a devastating toll of more than 1.7 million lives lost. Following the fall of the capital, United States warships have commenced a massive operation to evacuate approximately 40,000 refugees from the region.
