President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Sunday condemned the shooting incident that took place last night in the vicinity of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, which was attended by President Donald Trump.
“I have followed with utmost concern the shooting incident”, Sisi wrote on his Facebook page.
‘I firmly condemn this criminal act and reiterate our categorical rejection of all forms of political violence and terrorism, which pose a grave threat to the security and stability of societies,’ he added.
President Sisi expressed “profound relief at the safety of the President of the United States, wishing him continued health and well-being,” wishing the US continued security and prosperity.
