President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call on Tuesday from Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten. The president congratulated Jetten on assuming office and forming the new Dutch government, emphasizing Egypt’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations across all fields.
Presidential spokesperson Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy said Prime Minister Jetten expressed appreciation for the communication, affirming the Netherlands’ keenness to deepen cooperation with Egypt both bilaterally and within the Egypt–EU strategic partnership. He praised Egypt’s role in combating irregular migration and its efforts to safeguard peace and stability in the Middle East and Africa.
