The drill, code-named Nile Eagles – 2, lasted for several days in the Sudan, with the participation of elements of the Air Forces and Special Forces from the two countries, the Armed Forces spokesman said.

The final stage began with a detailed presentation of the preceding activities to determine the extent of the preparedness of the participating forces to carry out any tasks entrusted to them. The activities featured the equipping and taking off of multi-task aircraft and helicopters to carry out interception missions, air protection for the forces, defending vital targets and the implementation  of some tasks for special forces in action to eliminate a terrorist hideout, the Armed Forces spokesman said.
