CAIRO — Egypt’s national beach rowing team secured three medals at the Lido Filippi International Championship in Italy (April 17–19).
The team won two gold medals—Rimas Osama in the U-19 single sculls and the mixed double of Youssef Salama and Aliaa Ali—and a bronze medal through Youssef Salama in the U-19 singles.
Minister of Youth and Sports, Gohar Nabil, congratulated the national beach rowing team for their achievement.

The team also achieved strong finishes, including fourth and fifth in singles events, with several athletes reaching the round of 16.
The minister said the results reflect the team’s growing level and competitiveness internationally, noting continued support for further success. The event is a qualifier for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.
