Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad, Badr Abdel-Aati, received Martin Berns, Secretary-General of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Monday to mark the opening session of the inaugural Egypt–France Strategic Dialogue.
Abdel-Aati praised the depth of the strategic partnership between the two friendly nations and expressed Egypt’s commitment to strengthening cooperation across diverse fields.
The talks also addressed developments in the Middle East. The Foreign Minister highlighted Egypt’s intensive efforts to support negotiations between the United States and Iran, stressing the importance of regional and international coordination to de-escalate tensions and bring an end to the ongoing war.
