Egypt’s Cabinet has approved the Ministry of Civil Aviation to contract, in accordance with Article 78 of the Law Regulating Contracts Concluded by Public Entities (Law No. 182 of 2018), to implement a project aimed at enhancing and raising the level of cybersecurity for the Ministry’s digital transformation system.
The decision aligns with the state’s direction toward a secure and sustainable digital transformation. It is also considered a priority project in light of the rapid expansion in the use of digital systems to manage and operate civil aviation facilities, as well as the sensitive nature of the associated data.
The project aims to provide advanced levels of protection for the digital infrastructure, as well as various systems and applications, through the implementation of comprehensive solutions and advanced cybersecurity techniques.
