Minister of Labour Hassan Raddad held a meeting on Saturday with senior officials from labour directorates in Cairo, Giza, and Qalyubia, as part of a series of regular engagements aimed at monitoring performance and addressing on-the-ground challenges.
During the meeting, the minister held an in-depth discussion with attendees, listening to their assessments of operational challenges facing labour offices. He also reviewed key files within each directorate to ensure improved performance and more efficient service delivery to citizens.
Raddad directed officials to intensify efforts across directorates and labour offices to deliver high-quality services, while boosting labour relations across workplaces and production sites. He stressed the importance of continuing to implement the ministry’s plans and programmes across all sectors.
The minister further underscored the importance of human resource development, highlighting the need to enhance staff efficiency through continuous training on modern work systems, as well as relevant labour laws and regulations.
To conclude, Raddad reviewed a number of proposals and development ideas put forward by participants in the meeting, affirming the ministry’s commitment to studying these recommendations and leveraging them to further modernise the labour system.
