The Egyptian Healthcare Authority (EHA) is carrying on with its initiative the “Ayed w Etamen” (Celebrate and Be Reassured)and medical coverage plan for Eid al-Fitr celebrations for a third consecutive day, aiming to ensure safe and integrated health services for citizens in governorates covered by the comprehensive health insurance system.
EHA said that medical teams remain deployed in public squares and crowded areas to provide immediate medical support and secure public celebrations, helping enhance citizens’ sense of health safety during the holiday.
Central and sub-central emergency and crisis rooms continue to operate around the clock to ensure real-time monitoring of developments and rapid response to any emergencies, with ongoing coordination among relevant authorities, EHA Chairman Ahmed El-Sobky said
The initiative strengthens field medical presence in high-density and vital areas, improving access to healthcare services and ensuring timely care for citizens during the celebrations, he added.
El-Sobky also said the authority is conducting intensive field inspections of all affiliated healthcare facilities to ensure smooth operations, staff compliance with duty schedules and the availability of medical services as part of the Eid medical coverage plan.
He also confirmed the availability of sufficient strategic stocks of medicines, medical supplies, solutions, vaccines and antitoxins across all healthcare facilities, ensuring uninterrupted treatment services and preparedness to handle various cases throughout the holiday period.
