Labour Minister Hassan Raddad held a video conference on Sunday with Egypt’s labour offices overseas to review the conditions of Egyptian workers amid ongoing tensions in someArab countries. He stressed the need for intensified monitoring and in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egyptian embassies and consulates, and other relevant authorities.

The minister instructed officials to closely track the conditions of Egyptians in countries experiencing heightened tensions, follow all official directives issued locally, and provide real-time updates to ensure swift action when necessary.

He also highlighted the importance of maintaining constant communication with the ministry’s central committee and the International Relations Department to unify information and accelerate decision-making, thereby ensuring maximum protection and support for Egyptian workers abroad.

Raddad underlined that safeguarding the security and well-being of Egyptians overseas remains a top priority for the state.

He underlined that the ministry will continue its role in monitoring, care, and protection, responding promptly and seriously to any potential crises in cooperation with labouroffices, diplomatic missions, and all concerned institutions.
