The Ministries of Investment and Foreign Trade, Supply and Internal Trade, and Agriculture said on Sunday that they are coordinating closely to manage the impact of airspace closures in several countries on Egypt’s external trade, particularly perishable agricultural exports.

In a joint statement, the ministries said they are monitoring developments around the clock in coordination with relevant authorities, export councils, and companies to ensure a swift response and implement measures tailored to each sector.

They noted that work is underway on several parallel tracks, including exploring alternative logistics options such as maritime or land transport depending on destination markets, and facilitating regulatory and commercial pathways to redirect affected export volumes and expand distribution channels.

The three ministers ministries added that they are also coordinating with supply chains and domestic distribution outlets to absorb additional volumes in the local market without disrupting price stability.

Exporters were urged to contact the relevant authorities at each ministry, including the General Organisation for Export and Import Control, the Holding Company for Food Industries, and the Central Administration of Agricultural Quarantine, to report obstacles and receive immediate technical and procedural support.

The three ministries affirmed that they will continue joint coordination and take all necessary measures to ensure the steady flow of goods, protect the interests of producers and exporters, and maintain market stability.
