Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli chaired the first meeting of the newly reshuffled cabinet at the New Administrative Capital on Thursday.
The meeting focused on addressing political, economic, and social files while establishing a framework to execute presidential mandates efficiently and within designated time frames.
It will also discuss President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s specific directives for the new government related to national security, foreign policy, and economic development, energy, production and food security.
The cabinet will follow up on presidential directives related to inflation reduction and increasing expenditure on health, education, and social protection as ministers were being tasked with monitoring market prices and commodity availability while advancing national projects.
Furthermore, the agenda includes localizing industries and boosting exports to align with Egypt Vision 2030 and support the most vulnerable citizens.
The meeting will also follow up on previous measures regarding investment, industry, export, increasing arable land, making industrial land available to investors, the social security umbrella, taxes and development files.
