Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli chaired a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday at the government headquarters in the New Administrative Capital to discuss key political, economic, and social issues, and review ways to implement presidential directives efficiently.

The meeting agenda includes reviewing outcomes of Madbouli’s recent visits and the inauguration of several medical facilities, as well as following up on presidential directives aimed at meeting citizens’ needs.

The ministers also discussed ongoing measures to curb inflation, while maintaining increased spending on health, education, and social protection.

The Cabinet examined market regulation, food supply, and the progress of national development projects across governorates.

Additional topics included expanding social protection programs, supporting vulnerable groups, improving education and healthcare services, promoting comprehensive development, boosting investments and exports, and localizing industries within the framework of Egypt Vision 2030.

The session also reviewed prior measures related to investment, industry, export promotion, agricultural land expansion, allocation of industrial zones to investors, social security programs, taxation policies, and development initiatives in state sectors, with a focus on low-income groups and ensuring citizens’ basic needs are met.
