The Egyptian Men’s National Handball team delivered a masterclass performance on Tuesday to defeat Nigeria 48–22 in their final Main Round fixture of the African Men’s Handball Championship currently held in Rwanda.
From the opening whistle, the Pharaohs asserted their technical and physical dominance, executing a disciplined tactical plan that left their opponents struggling to keep pace. Egypt established a commanding lead in the first half and continued to widen the gap throughout the second period, finishing the match with an emphatic 26-goal margin.

With this dominant victory, Egypt officially advances to the semi-finals as the leader of the Main Round, maintaining a flawless full mark winning streak.
The team’s consistent performance throughout the tournament reaffirms their status as the primary contenders for the continental crown.
By securing maximum points in every match so far, the Pharaohs have sent a clear message of intent to their upcoming opponents in the knockout stages.

The national team remains focused on its ultimate goal: capturing the African title for the tenth time in history and the fourth consecutive time. As the defending champions move into the semi-finals, they carry significant momentum and the high expectations of Egyptian fans.
The Pharaohs are now just two wins away from standing on the podium once again and continuing their historic reign over African handball.
