CAIRO – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty reiterated on Sunday his keenness on maintaining direct communication with Egyptian communities during his foreign visits, saying the Egyptian state attaches utmost care and high priority to Egyptian communities abroad.
Abdelatty made the remarks came during his meeting on Sunday with members of the Egyptian community in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.
The minister underscored the Foreign Ministry’s commitment to improving consular services at all Egyptian diplomatic missions abroad and ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and in the shortest possible time.He also highlighted the support provided by various national institutions to strengthen links between Egyptians abroad and their homeland through a range of initiatives, including “Your Home in Egypt,” “Your Farm in Egypt,” “Open Your Account in Egypt,” the insurance policy for Egyptians abroad, as well as programs directed at youth.Abdelatty also reviewed the conditions of the Egyptian community in Pakistan, listened to citizens’ feedback on the services provided and their suggestions for improving them, praising the community’s contribution to achieving the shared interests of both countries.
