CAIRO — Round 14 of the 2025–26 Egyptian Premier League delivered plenty of drama, with Ceramica Cleopatra tightened their grip on top spot, reaching 29 points from 13 matches. Pyramids FC edged past Arab Contractors to climb into second place, leapfrogging both Al-Ahly and Zamalek despite having played fewer games than any other side in the competition.

Meanwhile, the fixtures between Al-Ahly and Ismaily, Zamalek and Smouha, and Al-Masry and Wadi Degla were postponed due to their participation in the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup, respectively.

Pyramids FC 2-0 Contractors

Pyramids FC continued their steady climb up the Egyptian Premier League with a composed 2–0 victory over Arab Contractors at the Air Defense Stadium.

Burkinabe midfielder Ibrahim Blati Toure opened the scoring for the Sky Blues in the ninth minute before striker Marwan Hamdi coolly converted an 82nd-minute penalty to seal the points.

The win lifts Pyramids to second place on 23 points, despite having played the fewest matches in the league—just 10 outings producing seven wins, two draws and a single defeat.

Contractors, meanwhile, remain mired in the relegation zone in 18th place with 10 points from 14 fixtures. Their sole win this campaign came against Modern Sport in Round 12, alongside seven draws and six losses.

Pyramids’ triumph pushes them above Zamalek, who has 22 points from 12 matches, and pulls them level with Al-Ahly on 23 points from 12, while holding the head-to-head advantage after their 2–0 victory over the Red Devils in the fifth week of the league.

Ceramica 2–0 Pharco FC

Ceramica Cleopatra cemented their place at the summit with a disciplined 2–0 victory over Pharco FC at Haras El-Hodood Stadium.

The breakthrough came in the 75th minute when Hussein El-Sayed unleashed a stunning strike from the left flank. South African forward Fakhri Lakay pounced on a costly error by Pharco goalkeeper Mohamed Shika. seven minutes later, doubling the lead and ensuring a comfortable finish.

Ceramica moves top of the table on 29 points from 13 matches (9 wins, 2 draws, 2 defeats), while Pharco FC stays in 16th on 12 points from 13 games.

El-Gouna 2-0 Al-Ittihad

El-Gouna grabbed a precious away win, defeating Al-Ittihad Alexandria 2–0 at Alexandria Stadium with two late, dramatic strikes deep into stoppage time.

Striker Marwan Mohsen converted a penalty in the 4th minute of stoppage time, awarded after Nigerian winger Tolulope Samuel Ojo was fouled inside the box. Just two minutes later, attacking midfielder Adham Refai sealed the result with a fierce effort that beat the keeper at the near post.

The result lifts El-Gouna into 10th place on 18 points, while Al-Ittihad remains second from bottom in 20th on 8 points.

Petrojet 3-1 El-Hodood

Petrojet produced a late surge to earn a 3–1 win over Haras El-Hodood at Petro Sport Stadium.

Senegalese striker Seko Sonko opened the scoring with a towering 17th-minute header.

El-Hodood battled back and equalised through defender Ibrahim Abdelhakim in the 61st, but Petrojet’s response in stoppage time was emphatic. Midfielder Adham Hamed restored the lead in the 92nd minute before Ivorian midfielder Abdoulaye Diabate added a third just two minutes later.

The victory pushes Petrojet to ninth place on 18 points, while Haras El-Hodood stays 15th on 13 points.

ZED 2-1 Kahraba

ZED FC snatched all three points in dramatic fashion, edging Kahraba Ismailia 2–1 at Ismailia Stadium.

Left-winger Abdelrahman El-Banouby put ZED ahead in the 42nd minute, before Kahraba’s right-back Sameh Ibrahim inadvertently equalised in the 57th. Striker Ahmed Atef struck a last-gasp winner in stoppage time to secure the three points.

ZED FC climbs to seventh place on 20 points from 14 matches (5 wins, 5 draws, 4 defeats), while Kahraba Ismailia sinks deeper into trouble, stranded on 8 points in 21st and bottom of the table after five consecutive league losses.

El-Geish 1-1 Enppi

Talae El-Geish and Enppi shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at the Military Sports Authority Stadium.

Enppi midfielder Ahmed El-Agouz gave the visitors the lead from the penalty spot in the 32nd minute. El-Geish fought back and earned a valuable point when Tunisian defender Houssem Souissi fired home an 83rd-minute equaliser.

El-Geish moves up to 17th on 11 points, while Enppi reaches eighth with 19 points.

Modern 0-0 NBE

Modern Sport and NBE Club played out a goalless draw at Al-Salam Stadium.

Despite NBE having the more dangerous attacks, but both teams ultimately lacked the finishing touch needed to settle the contest.

The stalemate leaves NBE Club in 11th on 17 points, levels with Modern Sport, who sits 12th on goal difference.
