The Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) expected that the application of precision agriculture (PA) would contribute to transforming the agricultural sector into a more advanced sector.
This came in a data analysis prepared by the IDSC on precision agriculture which focuses on decreasing the cost of production and losses to achieve sustainable development.
The report said that the government invests in the developed techniques and artificial intelligence to reach smarter solutions in the field of agriculture.
There are several opportunities to develop the agriculture sector to increase the productivity and make agriculture more sustainable, the IDSC said, adding that the artificial intelligence techniques can be used in analyzing huge data using the agricultural inputs to determine the best use for this data.
