Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty asserted, during his meeting with a number of members and representatives of the Egyptian community residing in Algeria, the Egyptian state’s pride in its citizens abroad, who represent an honorable model for their homeland and contribute to strengthening the bonds of cooperation and understanding between Egypt and Algeria.
The meeting comes within the framework of the Egyptian state’s keenness to maintain continuous communication with its citizens abroad and to listen to their suggestions and needs.
Abdelatty expressed his appreciation for the Egyptian community’s commitment and positive engagement in Algerian society, praising the good image reflected of Egypt and Egyptians.
He reviewed the leadership’s efforts to care for Egyptians abroad and provide them with various forms of support, through diplomatic and consular missions as well as government initiatives aimed at strengthening ties with Egyptian communities worldwide.
The minister also emphasized the Foreign Ministry’s efforts to facilitate consular services and provide assistance to Egyptians living in Algeria in various fields.
He expressed appreciation for Egyptian expats’ efforts and dedication in their workplaces.
