Proud to say that Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport successfully received guests of the Sharm el-Sheikh ” Summit for Peace”, bringing togerher more 31 countries and regional and international organisations .
With full readiness, the airport once again reaffirmed its position as one of the region’s leading and most efficient hubs for hosting major international events.
Since the early hours of the Summit’s activities, the airport witnessed a state of maximum readiness, with a high level of coordination among all sectors to ensure the safe and well-organised reception of world leaders and delegations, while maintaining the smooth flow of civil and tourist air traffic without any disruption.
The airport’s different departments joined forces in a true spirit of teamwork to present an honourable image worthy of Egypt’s standing internationally.
The Public Relations, Operations, Guidance, and Security departments coordinated the arrangements for arrivals and departures, ensuring the smooth flow of operations within the airport.
This distinguished performance is the result of the continuous efforts exerted by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, under the leadership of Minister Sameh el-Hefni, to develop the operational system in Egyptian airports and enhance their efficiency.
It reflects the rapid growth witnessed by Egypt’s aviation sector and prepares the airports to host major events with competence and excellence.
In recent years, Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport has undergone comprehensive development of its security and service systems, enabling it to continue playing its vital role in supporting tourism and air traffic.
The airport also contributes to strengthening Egypt’s position as a key regional hub for international travel.
