Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares said “a path of hope is opening in the Middle East,” as diplomatic efforts continue to secure peace in the region.
In a post on Monday on his official account on the social media platform X, Albares said he would accompany Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez to the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit.
He added that Spain is working to help establish a ceasefire in Gaza and to support long-term peace and security in the region.
