Cairo International Airport witnessed a remarkable increase in passenger traffic and flight movements in August 2025, compared not only with July 2025, but also with the same month of 2024. This reflects the airport’s ongoing efforts to enhance its services and strengthen its regional position.
The number of passengers rose to 2,870,990, compared with 2,647,948 in July 2025 and 2,648,663 in August 2024, achieving a monthly growth rate of about 8.4% and an annual growth rate of 8%.
Also, the total number of flights reached 20,050, compared with 18,729 in July 2025 and 19,049 in August 2024, recording a growth rate of around 7% over the previous month and 5% compared to last year.
This growth reflects Cairo Airport Company’s continuous commitment to developing infrastructure and implementing the strategic directives of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, contributing to enhanced passenger services and an improved travel experience.
It also reinforces Cairo International Airport’s position as a leading regional hub.
