Vodafone Egypt has announced key leadership changes, appointing Ayman El Saadany as External Affairs Director and Rasha Hamdy as Legal & Compliance Director, effective October 1, 2025.
Both executives will join the company’s Executive Committee and report directly to Mohamed Abdallah, CEO of Vodafone Egypt and Vodacom International Markets. The move comes as part of a broader leadership transition following the recent appointment of Ayman Essam as Chief External Affairs Officer at Vodacom Group.
El Saadany, currently Head of Regulatory Affairs and Public Policy, will take on a wider portfolio covering regulatory affairs, government relations, public policy, external communications, sustainability, corporate security, and the Vodafone Egypt Foundation. His mandate will focus on enhancing external engagement and supporting Egypt’s digital transformation agenda.
Hamdy, who presently leads the Legal and Compliance team, will assume oversight of contracting, compliance, risk management, privacy, litigation, and dispute resolution. Her expanded role is expected to reinforce governance and align business operations with global best practices.
In a statement, Vodafone Egypt said the appointments highlight the company’s commitment to leadership succession and institutional capacity-building, in line with its vision to deliver innovative services and create a better future for all.
