CAIRO — Week three of the 2025–26 Egyptian Premier League served up plenty of drama as Pyramids FC and Smouha were forced to settle for draws against Al-Masry and NBE Club. Meanwhile, Zamalek, Ceramica Cleopatra, Talae El-Geish, and Al-Ittihad all claimed maximum points with victories over Modern Sport, Enppi, Pharco FC, and Ismaily respectively.

Pyramids 2–2 Al-Masry

Pyramids FC and Al-Masry of Port Said shared the spoils in a thrilling 2–2 draw at the New Suez Stadium in the third round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Brazilian midfielder Everton da Silva opened the scoring for Pyramids in the 37th minute with a fine solo effort, his first goal for the club.

Algerian forward Abdelrahman Daghmoum equalized early in the second half for Al-Masry, smashing home after a rebound.

Congolese striker Fiston Mayele restored Pyramids’ lead in the 65th minute, but midfielder Omar El-Saaiy leveled again with a composed finish in the 83rd.

The result leaves Al-Masry top of the table with seven points, while Pyramids sit fourth on five.

Zamalek 2-1 Modern

Zamalek returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Modern Sport at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium.

Brazilian winger Juan Alvina put the White Knights ahead in the 12th minute, before Angolan forward Chico Banza doubled the lead three minutes into the second half. Modern Sport pulled one back in the 58th minute when Zamalek defender Mahmoud El-Wensh inadvertently turned the ball into his own net.

The result lifts Zamalek to seven points from three matches, placing them second in the table on goal difference behind leaders Al-Masry. Modern Sport remains on four points in ninth place after a win, a draw, and a loss.

Smouha 1-1 ZED

Smouha and ZED FC shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at Borg El-Arab Stadium in Alexandria.

Nigerian winger Samuel Amadi fired Smouha in front after 10 minutes, but winger Mostafa Saad “Messi” struck back for ZED in the 27th minute, with the equalizer confirmed by VAR.

The draw leaves Smouha 13th in the standings with three points, while newly promoted ZED continue their strong start, sitting third with five points.

El-Hodoud 0-0 Contractors

Haras El-Hodoud and Arab Contractors battled to a goalless stalemate at Osman Ahmed Osman Stadium.

Contractors dominated possession and pressed for a breakthrough, but El-Hodoud stood firm, with goalkeeper Mahmoud El-Zanfaly producing several key saves late on.

Deep into stoppage time, Contractors thought they had snatched the winner through Nigerian striker Kalu Onyemaechi, but the effort was ruled out for offside in the 98th minute.

The point moves Haras El-Hodoud to eighth place with four points, while Arab Contractors remain at 18th place with two points from three matches.

Degla 0-1 Petrojet

A solitary strike from Badr Moussa gave Petrojet a 1–0 win over Wadi Degla at Cairo’s Al-Salam Stadium.

The Palestinian forward netted just before halftime to secure Petrojet’s first victory of the campaign, adding to earlier draws with Ismaily and Kahraba Ismailia.

Petrojet moves up to five points in fifth place, while Wadi Degla stays on one at 19th place.

Ceramica 2–0 Enppi

Ceramica Cleopatra beat Enppi 2–0 at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium to record their first win of the season.

Veteran midfielder Amr El-Sulaya broke the deadlock with a powerful strike in the 53rd minute, before right winger Islam Eissa doubled the lead nine minutes later to seal the victory.

The win takes Ceramica to four points, while Enppi remains on four after suffering their first defeat of the campaign.

Kahraba 1–1 NBE

Kahraba Ismailia and NBE Club drew 1–1 in a dramatic finish at Cairo International Stadium.

Striker Osama Faisal put NBE ahead in the fifth minute of stoppage time, but midfielder Ahmed Hamzawi hit back just a minute later for Kahraba with a thunderous equalizer.

The result leaves both sides on two points, with Kahraba sitting 16th and NBE 17th in the standings.

Gouna 0-0 Mahalla

El-Gouna and Ghazl El-Mahalla settled for a goalless draw in the third round of the Egyptian Premier League, despite several chances at both ends.

The standout moment came when Mahalla’s Nigerian left winger Sunday Williams broke clear for El-Mahalla, only to be denied by goalkeeper Mohamed Alaa.

El-Gouna now sits seventh on four points, while Ghazl El-Mahalla remains 14th with three.

El-Geish 1–0 Pharco

Talae El-Geish bagged their first win of the season with a 1–0 victory over Pharco FC at Al-Max Stadium.

Action flares in Egyptian Premier League 23 - Egyptian Gazette

Togolese striker Ismail Ouro-Agoro struck the only goal with a long-range effort that beat goalkeeper Mohamed Shika.

El-Geish now moves to four points, while Pharco remains on one.

Al-Ittihad 1–0 Ismaily

Al-Ittihad of Alexandria edged Ismaily 1–0 at Ismailia Stadium to secure their first win of the campaign.

Action flares in Egyptian Premier League 25 - Egyptian Gazette

Nigerian forward John Ebuka scored the decisive goal in the 66th minute as Al-Ittihad grew stronger in the second half after a quiet opening period.

The win takes Al-Ittihad to three points, while Ismaily is left with just one from their opening fixtures.
