By Mohamed Attia

EgyptAir has been designated the official carrier of Egypt’s National Folk Arts Troupe during its participation in the prestigious Carthage Festival in Tunisia.

The troupe, led by acclaimed theater director Khaled Galal and managed by Mohamed El-Farmawy, represented the Egyptian Ministry of Culture at the festival, showcasing Egypt’s rich cultural heritage to regional and international audiences.

The Embassy of Egypt in Tunisia highlighted, through its official social media platforms, the airline’s role in supporting this distinguished cultural presence. The embassy also noted Egypt’s commitment to providing the necessary facilitation to ensure the troupe’s smooth participation during the festival’s opening leg.

The Carthage Festival, one of the oldest and most celebrated cultural events in the Arab world, served as a prominent platform for Egypt to reaffirm its leadership in arts and culture, while strengthening cultural diplomacy with Tunisia and beyond.
