CAIRO – Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah el-Din Mostafa has discussed with Indian Ambassador to Egypt Suresh K.Reddy ways to foster bilateral cooperation in various manufacturing fields.
During the meeting, held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Military Production in the New Administrative Capital, both sides reviewed the manufacturing, technical, and technological capabilities of the companies and units affiliated with the military production ministry.
The military production minister praised the significant improvement in India’s technological infrastructure in recent years, including the expansion of internet networks, increased data capacity, and enhanced communications quality across the country, the military production ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
He also underscored close relations between Egypt and India, expressing hope for continued cooperation between both countries.
During the meeting, Indian companies were invited to participate in the upcoming Egypt Defense Expo (EDEX 2025), scheduled to be held on December 1-4 under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Meanwhile, the Indian ambassador said Egypt is a promising investment destination due to its unique location linking Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, in addition to the availability of energy and advanced infrastructure that support the attraction of industrial investments.
