PARIS – France has strongly condemned the escalation of violence by Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank, where four Palestinians were killed in recent days in Kafr Malik (Ramallah) and Surif (Al Khalil).
In a statement issued recently, a spokesperson for the French Foreign Ministry urged the Israeli government to take firm and immediate action to end the violence perpetrated by extremist settlers.
France also reiterated its longstanding condemnation of settlement expansion and expressed its firm opposition to any form of annexation of Palestinian territory.
