Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah Eddin Moustafa chaired a series of meetings to evaluate and select candidates for senior management positions across the National Authority for Military Production and its affiliated companies and units.

Candidates were evaluated based on a comprehensive set of leadership competencies, including effective communication, decision-making, strategic thinking, creativity, and crisis management, minister stressed.

He also highlighted the ministry’s ongoing commitment to investing in human capital as a cornerstone of Egypt’s broader effort to boost national industrial capabilities and modernize defence production.

“The human element remains the most critical asset in our efforts to advance the defence manufacturing sector,” Moustafa said.

He pointed out that the selection process for senior roles was conducted with the highest standards of transparency and precision. Criteria included fulfillment of job requirements, academic qualifications, and completion of relevant specialised training programmes.

During the meetings, the minister directed all affiliated entities to maximise the use of available resources – both human and material – while minimising unnecessary expenditures. He also stressed the importance of applying governance principles across all companies, ensuring efficient asset management and cost-effectiveness.

Furthermore, Moustafa underscored the necessity of localising advanced manufacturing technologies across various sectors and increasing the local content in production, thereby adding value to the national economy and reinforcing Egypt’s industrial sovereignty.
