The Armed Forces Engineering Authority signed a co-operation protocol with the Egyptian Chinese University (ECU), to benefit from each other’s expertise in implementing the country’s national projects.
The protocol is part of the Armed Forces’ commitment to supporting the educational system at Egyptian universities and achieving the highest levels of fruitful co-operation with various educational institutions,
Head of the Engineering Authority Major General Ahmed Ali al-Azazi, highlighted the importance of the protocol in achieving the maximum possible benefit in preparing and qualifying young cadres by following the latest principles and training programmes in various engineering fields.
For her part, ECU President Professor Rasha al-Kholi expressed appreciation for the role played by the authority in the national development projects, with the use of advanced technologies.
The protocol aims to achieve joint cooperation in practical training for both parties in various modern engineering and technological specialisations, and to benefit from the scientific capabilities, human capacities, and infrastructure available to both parties in various fields, preparing them to meet the requirements of the labour market.
The signing ceremony was attended by a number of the authority’s commanders and officers, and a number of faculty members from the ECU.
