The state and the private sector have been exerting great efforts on developing the tourism sector as evidenced by the naming of Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada among the world’s best 15 tourist destinations, expert Mohammed Othman said.
Speaking to Nile News TV channel, Othman, head of the tourism marketing committee in Luxor, said the naming of the coastal cities of Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada reflects the state’s efforts on backing cultural and entertainment-related tourism.
He also shed light on the state efforts on creating favorable climate for tourists, in addition to promoting tourist destinations at different international events to attract more tourists.
