Comoros President Azali Assoumani and Japanese Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Toshiko Abe visited the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) on Saturday.
Assoumani commended the greatness of the Egyptian civilization and admired the archaeological artifacts on display in the museum as they narrated stories from the history enriching the humanitarian awareness.
The museum also received the Japanese minister, who met with Ahmed Ghoneim, the CEO of GEM, to boost joint cooperation with Egypt in the fields of culture, education and archaeology.
The meeting discussed horizons for future partnerships with a number of museums, universities and cultural institutions in Japan in order to exchange experiences and build human capabilities.
