Egypt’s Chairman of National Press Authority (NPA) Abdel-Sadek El-Shorbagy sent a cable of congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the 43rd anniversary of the Sinai Liberation Day.
El-Shorbagy voiced congratulations to President Sisi ‘on behalf of the NPA members, chairmen of the national press institutions, publications editors-in-chief, and all employees, including journalists, administrators and workers.”
Egypt restored Sinai “after years of resistance and challenge that demonstrated the strength and resilience of the Egyptian people and their valiant army,” the cable read.
“The liberation of Sinai, an immortal national epic and a bright moment in Egypt’s history, is a cherished memory that reveals the strength of the Egyptian will and the ability of our country to conquer difficulties with great heroism and sacrifices to recover the land and hold on to every atom of our national soil,” he said.
The NPA chief highlighted the unprecedented achievements which Sinai has seen in all fields, assuring President Sisi’s honourable national positions “that preserved the country’s borders, security and stability.”
