The Armed Forces Vehicle Engineering Industries Complex recently welcomed a delegation from Uganda, headed by General Kahinda Otafiire, Inspector General of the Ugandan Ministry of Interior.
The visit was part of the Armed Forces’ ongoing initiative to deepen co-operation and facilitate the exchange of expertise with allied and partner nations across diverse sectors.During the visit, the delegation received a comprehensive overview of the complex’s technical operations and its integration of advanced technological systems, which enhance the facility’s capability to perform its duties with exceptional efficiency.
The itinerary also included a guided tour of key production lines within the facility.At the conclusion of the visit, General Otafiire expressed his appreciation for the sophisticated scientific and technical framework in place, as well as the high level of professionalism demonstrated by the personnel.
He highlighted that the complex stands as a testament to the Armed Forces’ dedication to optimising available resources, embracing innovation, and advancing technical support capabilities in service of national development.
