Doha – In a significant display of solidarity, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani have agreed to continue their concerted efforts aimed at supporting the Palestinian people and fostering lasting security and peace in the region.
Following their high-level discussions in Doha, the Qatari Emir took to his X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday to announce the agreement. He stated that his discussions with President Sisi also explored avenues for further strengthening the well-established relations between the two nations.
In this context, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani affirmed a mutual commitment with President Sisi to advance bilateral cooperation across key economic, trade, and investment sectors. This collaborative push aims to achieve the strategic goals of both Egypt and Qatar and effectively serve their shared interests.
The agreement underscores a unified front between the two Arab nations in addressing the critical Palestinian issue and working towards a stable and peaceful future for the region.
