CAIRO – Taqa Arabia company announced that it works with the French company of Voltalia to renovate the first hybrid project of renewable energy with a capacity of 3.2 gigawatts in the Middle East and Africa in Suez.
The project includes expansion of Zafarana Wind Farm with the capacity of 2.1 gigawatts from solar energy in addition to 1.1 gigawatts from wind energy.
In a statement on Tuesday, Taqa Arabia company said that it made other alliance to renovate green hydrogen project with the capacity of 1 gigawatt to produce 130,000 tonnes of green hydrogen and 710,000 tons from green ammonia annually.
