EgyptAir’s tourism Karnak, marked its 70th anniversary with a special celebration on Sunday, February 9, 2025, offering exclusive discounts on international travel tickets.
During the event, Karnak announced promotional fares, including up to 50 per centoff economy-class tickets and 25 per cent off business-class seats for outbound flights from Egypt. Additionally, a limited-time “Golden Ticket” was introduced, available only through Karnak’s sales offices in Nasr City, Qasr El-Nil, and other branches across the country.

Yehia Zakaria, chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company, congratulated Karnak’s employees and praised their dedication to maintaining the company’s leading position in leisure and religious tourism, as well as in organising conferences and exhibitions. He urged them to continue their efforts to uphold the company’s distinguished reputation.
Mohamed Alayan, chairman of EgyptAir Airlines, highlighted recent upgrades to Karnak’s tourism transport fleet, replacing limousines with modern tourist buses as part of a broader expansion strategy. He also announced plans to revamp Karnak’s website, enabling customers worldwide to book services directly, a move aimed at boosting tourist numbers and enhancing the company’s competitiveness in the global travel market.

Ashraf Rateb, head of Karnak Tourism, noted that EgyptAir’s strategic development plan includes modernising the company’s fleet and upgrading its digital booking system to increase revenue, particularly in foreign currencies. He added that Karnak is working on several cooperation agreements with ministries, government entities, and private companies to facilitate ticket bookings and offer tailored tourism packages, including religious trips, corporate events, and international exhibitions.
