Ayman Arab, chairman of Egypt’s Airports and Air Navigation Holding Company, has held talks with Raed bin Hassan Al-Idrissi, CEO of Saudi Arabia’s Matarat Holding Company, in Riyadh to explore ways to strengthen co-operation in the airport sector.

The meeting focused on the benefits of private sector participation in airport management, as well as global best practices in airport operations. Both sides discussed exchanging expertise in technical and administrative fields, as well as methodologies and operational systems for major future airport projects.
They also explored ways to enhance collaboration between Egypt and Saudi Arabia under the framework of the Airports Council International (ACI), in line with Egypt’s Civil Aviation Ministry’s strategy to expand partnerships with international organisations.
The talks are part of ongoing efforts to bolster Egyptian-Saudi ties in the aviation sector and leverage global expertise to support future development plans, ensuring efficient airport operations and high-quality services for passengers.
