CAIRO – The government works on creating favorable climate to attract further investments, Investment and Foreign Trade Minister Hassan el-Khatib said.
The minister’s remarks came on Friday during a meeting with a delegation of 42 Italian companies in the presence of Italy’s Ambassador to Egypt Michele Quaroni and president of the General Confederation of Italian Industry (Confindustria) and a host of respective officials.
El-Khatib said the government works on adopting a number of comprehensive and clear-cut economic policies to cut cost and time and help Egypt to be a pivotal hub for exporting goods to Africa, Asia and Europe.
The minister also highlighted Egypt’s great potential and promising investment opportunities, urging Italian companies to invest in different fields here.
For his part, Quaroni lauded economic reforms made by Egypt to attract more investments in various domains.
