The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Monday condemned and expressed total rejection of statements by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu calling for the establishment of a Palestinian state in Saudi Arabia.
The Lebanese Foreign Ministry affirmed supporting Saudi Arabia in confronting threats to its security, stability, sovereignty and territorial integrity, the National news Agency (NNA) reported on Monday.
The ministry, in a statement, underscored “rejection of attempts to displace or settle Palestinians, especially in Lebanon,” and urged “pushing toward a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue based on the two-state solution, based on international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative issued by the Beirut Summit (2002), which enhances peace and stability in the region.”
